The Interviews

I am working on interviewing 100 people (about where they live, what they do, what they like, what they don’t like, what they are afraid of, and other cool stuff). I am going to put the interviews and some of the pictures I take into a book. I am going to try to sell the books and give the profits to the ASPCA. If you would like to be interviewed, email me at matthew_intheair@yahoo.com. If you want to put a button on your blog, click here.

  1. Matthew:
this is a great website and a great project! I wish that the technology had existed when I was your age, as I would have been all over it! I’d love to help out if I can, so if you need a not-so-interesting person to fill up space in your book, just let me know!

  2. Can I volunteer for an interview?

  3. i would volunteer for an interview, too. I dont own my own website, but if you want me to answer some questions for your book I would, especially because its for a great cause. πŸ™‚

  4. Hi Matthew,

I’m friends with Matthew of DefectiveYeti. Your interview with him ROCKED. So far, all your interviews have rocked.

If you’re still looking for volunteers, my website is a bit outdated but I share your love of cats, I box, and I used to help women have babies at home.

    I think I’m at least somewhat interesting…

Keep up the photography and enjoy your new kitty.

    –Melissa

  5. I would love to volunteer as an interviewee, if you still need any. I love reading your interviews.

Also, I remember you writing a post asking for video of silly cats. I don’t have cats, but I’m trying to catch my rabbits or my rats doing something goofy. (Shouldn’t take too long!)

  6. catching up here, i see that you’ve got the wrong link for Steve’s interview

I really like your interviews, and I would love to be interviewed by you. I’m in college, and I work as a researcher who studies voice and the vocal folds. My major is neuroscience — I’m planning to go to medical school.

I have a blog of my dreams, but I’m not sure that the content of my dreams is 100% kid-friendly, so I don’t want to link to it directly.

  9. Matthew!

I’d love to help you with your interview process. If you still need interviews, fire me an e-mail I will gladly participate.

    Rock on!
    Mike D.

  30. Hello Matthew. We live in Mexico (4 kids; 2 adults) and have been traveling for the past 3 years in our RV. Looks like you have tonnes of interview subjects lined up, but feel free to ask away.

  31. Hi Matthew! As a college student who homeschooled from 2nd grade all the way through my senior year, I want to tell you how cool I think it is that you’re writing this book. The stories you will learn, the friendships you’ll make, and the skills you will acquire from this are going to be fantastic! I promise! If you need someone to interview, I would be happy to volunteer, but it looks like you’re not lacking for people just itching to have you interview them! I can’t blame them. I’m honestly a little envious myself. Congratulations on doing something that many people will never have the nerve to try, kiddo. I know you’ll do great!

  32. I was put on the list to be interviewed back when you interviewed Steve from TheSneeze site, but I changed my email, so I wanted to send you the new one. πŸ™‚

  33. Hi. I found you from The Well-Read Hostess. If you need more people, I’d be thrilled to help you out.

What a cool project! And with all this blog publicity, you’re sure to sell a bazillion books. Or a bunch, at the very least.
