  1. I like your going-out hat and horses. VERY cool.

  2. I like your cat, he looks so cool and tough. Those eyes say “Don’t mess with me” perfectly.

  3. Hi Matthew, I like the photo of you guys at Sea World! It makes me think of my little sister – she used to be really scared of pretend-animals like that one when she was little. She really, really hated the ones at Chucky Cheese because they would sing and dance, which I guess made them even more scary. She wasn’t bothered by them after a while though, so hopefully your sister will feel the same way soon!

  4. That bear is terrifying.

  5. Matthew, I’m 30 years old and STILL uncomfortable around those big pretend-animals so I understand how your sister feels!

I really like your site! Your interview questions are terrific!

  6. The real polar bear at Sea World (FL) made me sad. It kept pacing back and forth frantically. I read in Time magazine that this nervous behavior means what seems obvious to me: I need space and exercise.

It also stepped in its own poop. That was kind of nasty.

  7. Hats are a very important way of expressing ourselves. I am so glad you also subscribe to this theory. We used to have the best dress-up box in the world, and all the kids loved our hat collection. I gave them all away when I moved. I was sad about that but my kids are in their twenties now and they don’t wear all the hats. I still have the real English bowler, the Crocodile Dundee and a bunch of baseball caps though.
I agree with your sister- fake bears are creepy. I liked the real ones.
I have cats too. I like them best of all.
Cool site dude- I want to add you to my blog list.

  8. Tell your mother she is gorgeous and I love the way she dresses her daughter.

  9. I gotta tell ya, I’m totally diggin’ that your cat is named Keith.
